moody moody sunday

posted by tristan @ 9/24/2006 11:24:00 PM

I abhore the thought of heading back to camp to face a week of OTs. Its driving me nuts. Other than taking a short nap, I spent the whole afternoon practicing my Japanese. The lesson conducted in Bunka compared to TP days is like 4 : 1. TP's 4 lessons, Bunka could cover within 1 lesson plus in-depth. Still, I'm quite positive about this new language. Coz' someday I want to conquer Japan, well, as in holiday.

Anyway, Happy 21st Birthday to Lian and En. Finally, the september babies celebrations are over. And they managed to burn my pocket, a big one. I'll upload the pictures say 2 weeks later, because I foresee the next 2 weeks to be busy.

Going to bed now.

There are times I wish when I close my eyes, I don't feel like waking up. Why is mother earth turning so freaking slow?

Define GEMS

posted by tristan @ 9/13/2006 12:08:00 AM

GEMS, which stands for "Go the Extra Mile for Service", is a national movement that aims to improve service levels.

But seems like Califonia Fitness have failed to perform or rather keep up with these standards. Upon reading the California Fitness SUCKS posting on shuiyi's blog just minutes ago, its dawns on me that some people just takes customer service lightly. Perhaps, just because California Fitness is one of the largest and money-making fitness centre in Singapore, their Sales Assistant GM could feel free to use ugly words to bid farewell to their "First time customers".

  • You will understand what I meant after you've read her posting.

  • You will realise GEMS can never be successful with the presence of such GM hanging around.

  • You will probably find that you're a stupid idiot to join California Fitness. Go for Fitness First, they can offer you quality service (I'm not trying to sell, but its the next best substitute for Cal Fitness)

  • If Cal Fitness sales dropped for the next quarter, say a big thank you to your Assistant GM for his service standard. I seriously wonder what it takes or rather what makes him an Assistant General Manager. Sacarcism must be in the check-list.

And I have come to agreement with Hui's words that GEM could also probably means "Go-Eat-Maggots, SonOfABitch"

Prawning + Misc shots.

posted by tristan @ 9/10/2006 02:14:00 PM

Good day everyone. Been a great week with plenty of rest. Anyway, there's a Family Day gathering held at East Coast on Friday, went around the city area in search of monuments and to learn our country better - National Education. Then went to fetch xiao bai at the airport. Met Elaine-san and I cracked a joke with her hairpin. lolx. Then went out for dinner with Erjie and her best friend, huihui. And, we went Pasir Ris Town Park for prawning. Dajie and her colleague joined us as well. Its my first time doing such patience-needed activity. Maybe frequent prawning will train me to become a more compose person? Its quite fun and I enjoyed myself. End of that 2 hours, we caught a total of 4 prawns. So, each prawn cost about $10.

Yesterday was a shopping day with xiaobai againand I got my stuff from Prints and my notebook for my nihon-go lesson which will commence next saturday. Oooo, excited! But didn't end quite well (No time!) as we have not get our mask and my CD. I fell in love with this album called "Balcony". The genre revolves mostly around Jazz, which is real soothing. Esther got an album from High Society called Shanghai Jazz.

Ok, I've uploaded some photos, some miscellaneous ones also. Enjoy~

Devil Wears Prada

Just went to catch Devil Wears Prada with Nes, En and Lian. It was a fantastic show and I thought Anne Hathaway is simply gorgeous with all the fashion labels she puts on. And I guess Chanel stole all the limelights in this movie. The storyline is pretty normal, still I would strongly recommend for fashionista.
Ratings: 4 out of 5.

Off, off, its OFF!

posted by tristan @ 9/04/2006 02:11:00 PM

My weekend was burnt again. Was being attached to Mount Faber SAFRA during the weekend. 3 days off, or rather deducted from the entitled off from AHM. Spent the morning "autumn" cleaning my room. Dust-free, spic & span, just short of new furnitures, queen size bed, walk-in wardrobe, TV, PS which would make my room oh-so-perfect!! The yearly IKEA catalogue always make me feel like spending!

ah bai flew off this morning to Haneda for training. Will be back this friday and we can go prawning! yeah~ Mum's birthday is coming, in a week time. what's installed for the month of Sep? Its birthday, birthday and more birthday!

Will be back soon. Watch this space...........
